GMOs or Genetically Modified Organisms have become widespread in the US with upwards of 80% of food in supermarkets today containing GMOs. In fact, the majority of soy, cotton, corn, canola, sugar beet, alfalfa, potatoes, papaya, zucchini, squash, and certain apples produced in the US contain GMOs.
GMOs have been linked to Chronic disease, cancer, infertility, birth defects, and other health conditions.
Studies which are unfavorable to GMOs seem to share a common thread. Their findings are always retracted or reversed shortly after.
Genetic manipulation to include Insecticide in the genetic composition of certain GMOs is most concerning. Manufacturers like Monsanto, who are known for lawsuits pertaining to health concerns surrounding Round-Up, claim that the insecticide is only harmful to insects but not humans.
One particular study found that mice suffered tumors, cancer, and early death at a much higher rate than mice that were not exposed to GMOs. This study was later retracted, of course, because it was said to be poorly designed, and no additional studies with unfavorable data toward GMOs have been reported since.
Organizations like the American Cancer Society and the FDA maintain that human consumption of GMOs are not linked to any health risks.
If you are satisfied with claims made by these so called trusted and highly respected sources then I have a question for you. Take a good look at the general population in the USA and tell me what you see?
Do you see a well-informed, well-grounded, highly conscious, well-adjusted, self-healing, resilient, healthy, glowing, vibrant, generous, compassionate society, packed full of energy, and living in harmony with each other and the planet?
Or do you see a profoundly sick, self-serving and egotistical society, riddled with health issues, frequently making trips to see a doctor or specialist, anxiously anticipating a growing list of diagnoses, actively seeking relief from prescription medications, desperately dependent on health insurance coverages, Hypertension, High Cholesterol, High Blood Pressure, Heart Disease, chronic depression, COPD, chronic kidney disease, Chronic Cancer, bloated, low energy, depressed, immune deficient, diabetic, diarrhea, erectile dysfunctional, substance abusing, alcohol abusing, and suffering from a never ending list of syndromes, ailments, psychological disorders, and degenerative health conditions?
If this is what you see then why offer any credence to the unreliable and highly controversial claims made by so called experts controlled by conflicting interests, and heavily influenced by corporate profits.
They are not liable if your health deteriorates as a result of their claims. It is up to each of us as individuals to decide what food we select to put in our bodies and we will either reap the rewards or suffer the consequences indefinitely.
